Todd Chrisley took immense satisfaction in the first shower he took at home after being released from prison one month ago.
The 56-year-old pardoned convict likened the experience to sexual gratification, telling ABC News in a Sunday special, ‘It was almost like your first sexual encounter,’ according to an account from Us Weekly.
Former USA Network stars Todd and wife Julie, 52, were both convicted in 2022 for orchestrating a $30 million bank fraud and tax evasion scheme and had been serving multi-year prison terms.
Julie was sentenced to serve in Kentucky until 2028 and Todd in Florida until 2032.
In late May, President Trump personally called their daughter Savannah Chrisley, 27, to inform her of his decision to grant the couple clemency.
Elsewhere in the ABC interview, Todd said sleeping in his bed again for the first time was ‘heaven.’

He also shared that his first meal post-release was Pizza Hut, while Julie enjoyed Zaxby’s.
Now that they’re free, the longtime spouses are planning a move from Nashville to South Carolina.
‘You know, I think we will always have a presence in Nashville, but I have a pull for Julie and I to go back to South Carolina — to Charleston — to that area,’ the father-of- five revealed.
‘And we have plans for what we wanna do. We have hopes of acquiring a hotel — a mansion — there, that we are gonna convert into a hotel, and we’re gonna create a show around that,’ he said.
During a May press conference, the Chrisleys, who rose to fame on their show Chrisley Knows Best, said that they already have a new reality television series in the works.
Todd said he and his wife ‘started filming literally the night that we got home’ for a forthcoming Lifetime program.
Savannah added: ‘I think with this new series, you will see the first time he and mom see each other [after their respective prison releases].’

Savannah Chrisley, 27, fought to get her parents out of prison and was victorious in late May when President Donald Trump granted them clemency
In addition to Savannah, Todd and Julie share sons Chase, 29, and Grayson, 19.
Todd is also dad to daughter Lindsie, 35, and son Kyle, 33, from his marriage with ex-wife Teresa Terry. The Chrisleys adopted their granddaughter Chloe, 12, from Kyle in 2016.
Before her parents were pardoned, Savannah and her siblings had been filming a series detailing how they were coping while their parents were detained.
She said in May: ‘We obviously… we had been filming, and we had just wrapped filming for all intents and purposes and then we get the call that they had been pardoned, so we picked right back up.
‘And we’re excited because I think this new show is going to give… first off, it’s gonna give people a look into the trial and things that we went through and we’re gonna set the record straight, put some documents out there.’
