The filming of the much-anticipated second season of this Paramount+ hit has wrapped up, but speculation rose back in May about the future dynamics of the show. Reports circulated that Tom Hardy, the leading star, might not return for a potential third season. Tensions between Hardy and the show’s mastermind, Jez Butterworth, were reportedly fueled by Hardy’s frequent tardiness, possibly paving the way for his exit from the acclaimed series.
However, the story took an unexpected turn. Deadline revealed earlier this week that Hardy would, in fact, continue with the series. Yes! Not only has the show been renewed for a second season, but a third season is also expected, with a Season 3 writers’ room already underway.
When Will MobLand Season 2 Premiere on Paramount+?
There’s no official MobLand Season 2 release date, but back in May, executive producer/director Guy Ritchie told ScreenRant that the show is expected to be back “before the end of the year.”
With the first season concluding in June 2025, our best guess is a fall 2026 premiere date.
