Jordan Brook has opened up about enduring a “really frightening period” as he deals with a brain condition while hospitalized. His pregnant partner, Sophie Kasaei, shared on Instagram that joining him at the hospital is deemed “too risky” for her at this time.

The 31-year-old star from “The Only Way Is Essex” disclosed on Sunday night that he was admitted over the weekend and is currently awaiting further tests to receive a precise diagnosis.

He mentioned that he is suffering from “inflammation and swelling of the brain,” noting that the recovery journey seems dauntingly distant.

In a photo shared from his hospital bed on his Stories, he expressed, “Sadly, this remains my view. It feels like an endless nightmare at the moment.”

He continued, “I’m awaiting results from a procedure. Once we have them, things will become clearer. For now, it’s confirmed that there’s inflammation and swelling in my brain.”

‘A really scary time that reassures you we are all human.

‘Hoping to rest up and be fighting fit and back home with my girl and bump, soon but at the minute seems a long way off

‘Thank you for everyone’s continued messages of love and support I’m sorry I havnt got back to everyone I have been extremely weak.

‘I also apologise to any work clients hate letting people down I will be back as soon as I can’

Sophie, who is pregnant with their first child, also gave fans an update after she said on Friday they have been ‘living a nightmare’.

She wrote ‘Jordan is still in the hospital and we are still waiting for answers whilst he is getting treatment and medication.

‘If people are trying to contact him he’s unable to use his phone at the moment as he’s in pain and is mostly sleeping.

‘His family are there with him doing a great job as it’s too risky for me and baby.

‘He will be there for the next few days and hopefully be on the mend and back home to me and bump very soon. Lots of love.’

Jordan’s admission to hospital comes after the couple announced in December that they are expecting their first child together after having a challenging two-year fertility journey.

He said the only update he has had is that he has 'inflammation and swelling of the brain' and explained that getting back feels a 'really long way off'

The reality stars, who have been together since 2022, took to social media to share a sweet video announcing the happy news.

Sophie and Jordan looked more loved-up than ever as they hung a bauble on their Christmas tree which read: ‘Merry Christmas Mummy and Daddy. See you in 2026.’

In the video, it began with the couple wrapping a present last year and placing it under their Christmas tree.

They wrote: ‘Last year, Sophie and Jordan clutched onto an old wives’ tale, carefully wrapping a baby blanket and placing it under their tree, in the hope that 2025 would be their year.’

The video transitioned to the pair dressed to the nines in a glamorous figure-hugging red dress, showcasing her baby bump and Jordan wearing a tuxedo as they danced by their Christmas tree.

In January, the couple pulled out all the stops as they threw a star-studded gender reveal at Three Rivers Golf & Country Club in Cold Norton.

The pair were joined by their reality TV pals for the celebration, including James Argent, Lauren Goodger and Charlotte Dawson.

Sophie and Jordan looked happier than ever as they revealed they are expecting a baby boy during the show-stopping event.
