Toya Rushing brought the Disney magic to Atlanta with a special early screening of Lilo & Stitch for her closest family and friends. The reality star, entrepreneur, and mom of two shared a peek into the fun-filled day on Instagram, calling the experience “nothing short of magical.”

“I hosted a private Lilo & Stitch advanced screening for our family and friends and it was nothing short of magical!” Toya wrote in her caption. “The movie was so good…a beautiful mix of heart, humor, and that classic Disney magic. Don’t miss it when it hits theaters on May 23rd! Big thanks to @Disney for the unforgettable experience! #LiloAndStitch #DisneyMagic #DisneyPartner”

Joining her at the event was her youngest daughter, Reign Rushing, who shared an especially sweet moment with her mom before the screening began.

“@reign_beaux made my whole day yesterday,” Toya continued in a separate post. “She came with me to work and watched me speak on a panel before the Stitch screening. Afterward, she said, ‘Mama, you did a really good job today.’ That touched me in such a deep way. Our kids are always watching even when we don’t realize it. Let’s keep setting the example and showing them what purpose, passion, and grace look like.”

Toya and husband Robert Rushing welcomed Reign on February 8, 2018. The couple also have children from previous relationships. Toya shares 26-year-old daughter Reginae Carter with rapper Lil’ Wayne.

The screening celebrated Disney’s live-action remake of the 2002 animated classic, Lilo and Stitch. which tells the story of a young Hawaiian girl and a a chaotic yet lovable alien fugitive who helps her heal her broken family.

The film is directed by Oscar® nominee Dean Fleischer Camp and stars Sydney Elizebeth Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Chris Sanders, Courtney B. Vance, Zach Galifianakis, and newcomer Maia Kealoha.

Lilo & Stitch crashes into theaters on May 23, 2025.
