Los Angeles cops have described the killings as execution style and said they were killed with a gun that belonged to them.

Deluca died within seconds of being shot, according to the couple’s death certificate seen by People.

Meanwhile, Kaye died just minutes after being shot.

The pair were shot several times on July 10, but cops didn’t find their bodies until four days later.

They were killed just moments after coming back from the grocery store.

Police revealed there were no signs of a break-in as they examined the property from a helicopter.

DeLuca and Kaye were cremated on July 23 – nine days after they were found.

Raymond Boodarian, 22, has been charged with their murders.

He was also charged with burglary after allegedly breaking into the property.

Cops believe he was inside the home for around 30 minutes.

Officers had received two calls about potential burglaries on the day the couple was killed.

One call was logged at 4:12pm and the second was reported at 4:53pm.

Boodarian was arrested after it emerged he called the police, according to Nathan Hochman, the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

“Mr. Boodarian got caught because he used his cellphone to contact police concerning this situation,” he said.

“Police were able to ping the cellphone, find out where he lived, go to his residence and arrest him.”

It was Boodarian who made the second call.

“Please don’t shoot me,” he reportedly told the 911 operator.

He allegedly pretended to be the victim during the call.

Hochman confirmed the reports that Boodarian didn’t use a gun he owned to allegedly carry out the killings.

Boodarian appeared in court on August 20 but wasn’t arraigned.

He is due to appear at a mental health court on September 3.

‘KILLERS’ SILENCE

He didn’t respond when questioned by judge Martin L. Herscovitz. Herscovitz said Boodarian stared into space during the court hearing.

Boodarian was also wearing a suicide vest during his court appearance in Van Nuys.

Following news of Kaye and Deluca’s deaths, it emerged that the American Idol supervisor felt threatened in their home before she was killed.

She reportedly contacted security companies following a string of burglaries in the area.

Kaye had worked on more than 200 episodes of American Idol, according to her IMDB.

She also worked on episodes of the TV series The Singing Bee between 2007 and 2011.

Kaye received an award for Best Music Supervision in Reality Television at the Fourth Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards in 2014.
