TRAVIS SCOTT SAYS HAVING KIDS CHANGED HIS PERSPECTIVE

Travis Scott has opened up about how fatherhood has transformed his outlook on life.

The musician, who co-parents daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with former partner Kylie Jenner, expressed that being a parent has altered his approach to life. “You can’t just act recklessly or indulge in wild behavior anymore,” he remarked in an interview with Rolling Stone.

Scott noted that his children have inherited his creative streak, particularly in their enthusiasm for new ideas.

“They mirror my enthusiasm when it comes to brainstorming,” he said. Scott recounted a memorable experience with his son. “My son is 3, nearly 4 now,” he mentioned. “I took him to the Disney Imagineering center, and he was fascinated by the robots and cutting-edge technology there.”

While fostering imagination and curiosity, Scott is mindful about controlling their tech exposure. He explained that his children are not introduced to artificial intelligence just yet. “My kids don’t use AI,” he commented. “Introducing AI at this stage could limit their brain’s potential to develop fully.”

Scott said he wants his children to focus on learning in a more hands-on way before relying on advanced technology. “So they got to learn the physical and the actual way of learning so then they know how to actually use AI to their best ability,” he said. “Because if it’s doing everything for you, how do you even know what’s right or wrong?”

As for his music, Scott said fans can expect new material soon, though he remained vague about the timeline. “Got to feed the kids, man. The kids must eat.”

Scott said he is currently working on a new album that he hopes will translate to large-scale live performances.

“When I make the music, I have this full vision. I see it going down,” he said. “I’m thinking stadium status. How could people so far away feel so close? How can the music be so big but grounded? Taking raw elements and making it feel, like, euphoric. Man, finding new rhythms, but nothing too hard to take in. You know what I’m saying? A level of what could Rodeo be like on the ultra-scale stadium life.”
