Tristan Thompson Cherishes Milestone as Son Prince Begins 4th Grade Journey

Tristan Thompson marked the start of a fresh academic year with a heartwarming tribute to his eldest son, Prince, as he embarked on another school journey.

On Wednesday, August 12, the former NBA player delighted fans by sharing a collection of snapshots capturing the 9-year-old on his way to conquer fourth grade. As they stood outdoors, the joyful father-son duo radiated energy, with Prince proudly displaying his stylish back-to-school outfit and new backpack.

“My best friend’s first day of 4th grade. Man, I’m getting old,” Thompson nostalgically penned in the caption of his shared post.

Co-parenting with his ex, Jordan Craig, Thompson watched as Prince stepped into this milestone wearing a crisp white T-shirt, tan sweatpants, and matching white sneakers. Standing beside him, Thompson opted for an all-black ensemble, flashing a wide, proud smile.

Another shot captured the touching moment of Thompson draping his arm affectionately over Prince’s shoulders, and a third image encapsulated their playful side, with both tossing up peace signs for the camera.

Prince is the oldest of Thompson’s four children. The 35-year-old also shares daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 4, with Khloé Kardashian. He is also dad to 4-year-old son Theo, whom he shares with Maralee Nichols.

Earlier this year, Thompson spoke about the relationships between the mothers of his children during an appearance on The Katie Miller Podcast. He said maintaining a family connection remains important because his children will always be siblings.

“We’re all friends. We’re all family,” Thompson said. “At the end of the day, we’re all family. We all have each other’s contact info. We’re all in a great place because I think that’s the number one thing.”

He continued, “No matter how you chop it up and no matter how you want to put it together, we’re all tied together. We’re all family, and our kids are all siblings, and they’re going to be in each other’s lives for a long time.”
