We have been here once before. NBA player Tristan Thompson is once again getting slammed by the court of public opinion for excluding his son, Theo, in family pics with his other children.

On Saturday, the Cleveland Cavaliers player posted a sweet tribute to his daughter, True, in honor of her 7th birthday, captioning the carousel of images, “Happy birthday Twinny!! My TuTu is 7 today!! I Can’t believe how time flies.”

“Momma you are literally the light that shines bright In my life. When I see you I see mommy aka GiGi. True you bring your brothers, mommy and all your cousins soo much happiness you literally spark any room you walk in.

He concluded, “You have the best soul ever I’m soo blessed to have as my daughter. Keep being amazing each and every day. Daddy always got you. I can’t wait to play tag and jump on the trampoline. I love you Twin.”

In the carousel tribute, the father-of-four shared a variety of adorable snaps snaps of himself with three out of four of his children: Prince, 8, with whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig, and daughter, True and son, Tatum, 2, whom he shares with Khloe Kardashian.

Well, as a result of the 34-year-old not including his other son, Theo, 2, with whom he shares with Maralee Nichols, the internet weighed in and it is not pretty.

“Boy where yo other kid,” one user wrote.

Another added, “Missing one of your children! Not a good dad unless you’re a good dad for all of your children.”

”Be a dad for all of your children. We know Prince, True, Tatum, so tell us what about Teo,” one commenter wrote.

A fourth Instagram user commented, “This is all sweet and all but everyone defending him for not acknowledging the other kid…imagine in a few years that kid makes contact because hi is old enough to understand THIS whole messed up situation??!!!”

At the beginning of the year, Thompson omitted his son, Theo from the family fun, for the first time in public, drawing ire from the internet. The basketball star shared a Snapchat video where he referred to having “two daughters,” sharing an image of himself, Prince, True, and Tatum, and Dream Kardashian, daughter of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna.

Nichols gave birth of Theo in December of 2021, while Thompson was still dating ex-Khloe Kardashian. In January of 2022, Thompson formally recognized Theo as his son stating that he would, “take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, look forward to amicably raising our son.”
