Not only is Tyga’s son, King Cairo, growing up fast, he’s almost taller than his dad!

The rapper, 35, took to Instagram Stories on July 31 to share a sweet, rarely seen moment with his 12-year-old son, King Cairo. In the candid photo, Tyga stands casually with an arm around King, who flashes a bright smile for the camera. “@kingcairo almost taller than me,” the proud dad wrote.

King, wearing a white graphic tee and striped shorts, stands nearly shoulder-to-shoulder with his father, who holds a red hoodie and a water bottle. The two appeared relaxed and happy, showing how tight their father-son bond remains, even with the usual complications of co-parenting.

Tyga shares King with ex-fiancée Angela White, better known as Blac Chyna, 37. The former couple finalized a custody agreement in late 2023. As first reported by TMZ, the legal arrangement includes joint legal and physical custody and stipulates that both parents must use a communication monitoring program for any discussions about King Cairo.

The plan also gives Tyga weekday custody from Monday to Friday, while Blac Chyna has weekends from Friday to Monday. Interestingly, no child support is required under the agreement.

Despite their separation, both parents continue to celebrate their son in meaningful ways. On King’s 12th birthday in October, Chyna posted a heartfelt message alongside a carousel of photos showing him playing soccer, hanging with his little sister Dream, and posing proudly by her side.

“Happy 12th Birthday to my son, @kingcairo!” she wrote. “Mommy is so proud of you for being the best big brother, the smartest in school, and the best soccer player. King, you can soar; there is nothing you can’t do. It is an honor that God chose me, Angela, to be your mother.”

Tyga also marked the occasion in his own low-key way. Sharing a photo of King Cairo next to birthday balloons, he captioned it simply, “@kingcairo day today.”

As King Cairo enters his teenage years, it’s clear both parents remain committed to showing up for him, whether it’s through birthdays, Instagram shoutouts, or a casual hug to measure height caught on camera.
