Teresa Guidice is embracing the essence of family, particularly when it comes to her brother, Joe Gorga. The star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” recently mended fences with Joe and his wife, Melissa Gorga, ending a long-standing feud. This reconciliation was notably inspired by Teresa’s 24-year-old daughter, Gia Guidice.
In a candid interview with E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes at BravoCon 2025, held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on November 15, Teresa revealed, “I reached out to him after participating in ‘Special Forces.’ Gia encouraged me to let go of past grievances with her father. As a mother, it’s crucial to set a good example for our children, and I always prioritize being a mom first.”
Teresa, who shares daughters Gabriella, 21, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 16, with her ex-husband Joe Giudice, found herself reflecting on other fractured relationships in her life. Her journey through these personal challenges has made her reconsider the importance of family ties.
“Thinking about forgiving my husband inspired me to think of my brother,” Teresa shared. “I want him back in my life. So, after coming home, I reached out to him, and he immediately responded.” This heartfelt gesture marks a significant step towards healing and strengthening family bonds for the reality TV star.
“When I thought about my husband and letting the past go, I thought about my brother,” she explained. “I want my brother back in my life. I came home and then I reached out to him. As soon as I reached out to him, he, of course, responded.”
