Amina Buddafly recently enjoyed a memorable evening out with her eldest daughter, Cori Pankey.

The duo attended the prestigious Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards, hosted by the Dream 4 All Foundation, in Los Angeles on November 1, 2025.

Following the glamorous event, Amina took to Instagram to share snapshots from their special night.

“She was in my belly when I wrote this to her. My firstborn baby Cori. Always by my side!! #nevergonnabealone #mommyanddaughterdate,” she lovingly captioned the post.

In the photos, the Love & Hip Hop: New York alum wore a fitted long-sleeve dress with a white accent tied at the waist, while Cori coordinated in a black skirt, white tee, and sneakers.

“Cori is our baby — we went through the journey with you, Amina,” one follower commented. Another added, “She’s growing up so lovely,” while a third wrote, “She’s so beautiful, just like her mom.”

Amina shares two daughters, Cori and Bronx, with fellow musician Peter Gunz. Over the summer, the singer revealed that she and her children had lost their home in Los Angeles and temporarily relocated to Germany to stay with family.

In a video posted on social media, Amina told fans, “Day one of waking up in Germany after losing our home in LA. Me and my kids moved out of our place, put our stuff in storage or most of it in the trash… We don’t have a home, y’all.”

Peter Gunz later addressed the situation, explaining that he had offered Amina and their children a place to stay but said she chose to go to Germany.

“I send Amina thousands every month,” he said in response. “Whatever she asks… It’s just that she wasn’t able to hold her side of things up.”

Amina also spoke out, confirming that Peter had been supportive. “Yes, we all know he hasn’t always been the best, but I have to point out that he’s been there for us,” she shared on social media. “He’s been holding us down for the past two years. That’s when I started struggling — not being able to cover my overhead, my bills, my rent. He stepped up and was there, and he paid our rent a lot of the time. So I just hate to see people bashing him because that wasn’t my intention.”

Now, things appear to be looking up. Amina and her kids are back in Los Angeles, and she’s focusing on family, music, and new beginnings.
