The recordings, posted by the Instagram account @wahalanonetwork, reveal Saida Boj inquiring about Portable’s fee for featuring on her upcoming EP. Initially, Portable demanded a fee of ₦10 million for his participation.
Saida Boj, clarifying that the request was a genuine professional endeavor and not a publicity stunt, explained her financial constraints. She remarked, “This is not about social media clout. This is serious. It’s my song. I’m working on an EP and I need you on it.”
In response, Portable agreed to lower the fee to ₦8 million, adamantly asserting the worth of his contribution, which he claimed could propel her career to new heights. He expressed, “My verse can change your life. I’m a big deal. You’re talking to a star. You’d want to collaborate with someone who has a promising future before you go further.”
Saida Boj, known for her candid responses, countered by saying, “Everyone has a future. You’re a big name in music.”
