In a tragic turn of events, the daughter of renowned Hollywood star Tommy Lee Jones was discovered lifeless in a high-end hotel in San Francisco on New Year’s Day. Victoria Jones, aged 34, was found on the 14th floor of the prestigious Fairmont Hotel by a guest who initially thought she was intoxicated and promptly informed the hotel staff, according to insiders who spoke to the Daily Mail.

Upon being alerted, the hotel team quickly realized that Victoria was not responsive. They took immediate action by administering CPR while calling for emergency medical assistance. The San Francisco Fire Department received the distress call at 2:52 a.m., and despite all efforts by the first responders, Victoria was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have indicated there was no evidence of foul play involved in her untimely death. Investigations revealed no physical trauma or drug paraphernalia at the location. Additionally, there are currently no indications suggesting that Victoria’s death was intentional.

The San Francisco Fire Department said they then responded to a call for medical aid at 2.52am, at which point first responders tried to revive Victoria before she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The source said there were no signs of foul play, such as trauma to the body, and police did not find any drug paraphernalia on the scene. There were also no signs that Victoria may have taken her own life.

It remains unclear whether Victoria was a guest at the hotel or how she came to be on the 14th floor, according to the Daily Mail’s insider. 

A spokesperson for the San Francisco Police Department is now asking anyone with information about Victoria’s untimely death to contact the department.

By 2002, she made her movie debut with a small part in her father’s picture Men in Black II.

She would go on to appear in a handful of acting projects as a child, including a 2005 episode of One Tree Hill and a role that same year the Western picture The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which was directed by her father.

Although she has not acted onscreen since her role as a cheerleader on One Tree Hill, she has attended the occasional red carpets alongside Jones as an adult.

In 2017, she posed proudly at his side at the ArcLight Hollywood for the premiere of his movie Just Getting Started, also starring Morgan Freeman and Rene Russo. 

She also made an appearance with her father in October 2017 at the opening of that year’s Tokyo International Film Festival, where he was serving as president of the international competition jury. 

After directing his daughter in The Three Burials of Melquiades, Jones showered praise on Victoria in an interview promoting the film.

‘She’s a good actress, has her SAG card, speaks impeccable Spanish,’ he said. ‘When she was a baby, I told Leticia, her nurse, to speak to her in Spanish.’

He also related a charming anecdote about having to acclimatize his then 14-year-old daughter to the rigors of working on a Hollywood movie set.

‘She had to get up at 5am for her part. One morning, she wouldn’t get out of bed. I said: “Honey, this is work.” But she wouldn’t budge,’ he told the New Yorker. 

‘So I fired her. Then, without telling me, the production staff went over and woke her and rushed her out to the set just in time,’ he recalled.

Victoria is now survived by Jones, Cloughley and her brother, Austin.
