After almost two years since the Season 1 finale dropped on the streamer, Taylor Sheridan’s star-studded Yellowstone prequel 1923 returns Sunday, February 23 for its second and final season. Will There Be a Landman Season 2?

Landman hasn’t officially been renewed for a second season, but we’re almost certain it’ll be back for another season. The series was not only one of the most-watched streaming shows of 2024, but it also earned critical acclaim with a 78% Tomatometer score.

Landman standout Demi Moore seemingly confirmed a second season while promoting The Substance in May 2024.

“I’ve already completed the first season and I’m excited for us to start the second, which will be at the beginning of next year,” Moore said during a talk at the American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival.

Series lead Billy Bob Thornton said something similar to Entertainment Weekly in August 2024.

“I understand that if we’re going to do that, Season 2, that it’s going to be sometime around February, March, somewhere in there,” Thornton said.

Most recently, Elle asked Ali Larter if production had a timeline for the next season. After confirming that production does in fact have a timeline in place, she said: “Just announce it!”

Again, there’s no official confirmation, but we’re 99.9% sure Landman will be back for a second season.
