In the caption, Justin recalled a fight in which he told Hailey she would never appear on the cover of the magazine. Fans attacked Bieber in the comments, even after he changed the caption of the post. They’ve continued to take him to task in the comments of later posts.

Hailey is the cover star of the summer edition of Vogue. Justin shared a photo of the cover on his Instagram account.

“Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,” he wrote in the caption. “I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue. Yikes I know, so mean. For some reason because I felt so disrespected. I thought I gotta get even..”

Justin tried to explain his behavior.

“I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even, we’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection,” he wrote. “So baby u already know but forgive me for saying u wouldn’t get a vogue cover cuz clearly i was sadly mistaken.”

He changed the caption several hours after posting.

Fans have called out the way Justin Bieber has treated Hailey Bieber

Fans went after Justin in the comments, calling him “misogynistic” and “disrespectful” for what he said to his wife. He has posted five times since, and commenters continue to call him out.

“Stop making ur wife’s day about you challenge: impossible,” wrote one person on the first post after, an image of stingrays.

“The fact that she talked about how difficult the birth of your son was… you had the opportunity to post a beautiful thing and you decided to be selfish and embarrass her,” wrote another person.

He continued to post despite the backlash. People feel disgusted with Justin and encouraged him to get off Instagram.

“We still mad at you,” wrote a person on a photo of Justin and his friends. “Come Back next week.”

At the time of publication, his most recent post tagged his new company, SKYLRK. This didn’t distract commenters, either. 

“Imagine tossing shade at your wife and mother of your children,” wrote one person. “Grow up.”

He has yet to address the backlash.

The couple is allegedly in a good pace in their relationship

Many commenters encouraged Hailey to leave Justin. They’ve faced rumors of relationship problems for years. Still, a source close to the couple insisted their marriage is solid.

“Hailey tries to be there for him as much as she can,” the source told Us Weekly. “She is very patient and accommodating and helps him a lot. She is the most supportive wife, and he feels grateful to have her. They have been through a lot, but have been in a good place these last few months.”

The couple has been married since 2018.
