On November 6, 2025, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the U.S. military targeted a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization. This operation was part of a broader initiative aimed at curbing drug trafficking activities that frequently intersect with terrorist operations in the region. So far, the campaign has included 17 strikes, reflecting a robust and sustained effort to dismantle these illicit networks.

The strike in the Caribbean highlights the U.S. military’s proactive measures to combat threats that extend beyond traditional warfare, addressing both terrorism and drug trafficking as interconnected global challenges.
This strike is part of an ongoing campaign to disrupt drug trafficking, with 17 strikes conducted so far.
Meanwhile, the campaign has resulted in 70 deaths and 18 vessels destroyed, with the US military claiming the strikes are targeting narco-terrorists poisoning American people.

Today, at the direction of President Trump, the Department of War carried out a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a Designated Terrorist Organization.
The vessel was trafficking narcotics in the Caribbean and was struck in international waters. No U.S. forces were harmed in the strike, and three male narco-terrorists who were aboard the vessel.
To all narco-terrorists who threaten our homeland: if you want to stay alive, stop trafficking drugs. If you keep trafficking deadly drugs, we will kill you.
