Usain Bolt’s twin sons have reached a milestone, celebrating their fifth birthday.
The Olympic icon marked the occasion by sharing a heartwarming photograph of himself with his sons, Thunder and Saint Leo, following their May 9 celebration. Captured aboard a yacht festooned with red, blue, and racing-themed balloons, the twins sported matching race car-inspired attire, adding a playful touch to the festivities.
“Happy birthday to my twin boys. Know that daddy loves you very much,” Bolt expressed in the heartfelt caption that accompanied the post.
Bolt and his partner, Kasi Bennett, are also proud parents to their daughter, Olympia Lightning Bolt.
In a 2024 appearance on the Obi One Podcast, the sprinting legend shared insights into his children’s personalities, noting that Olympia might be the one most inclined to follow in his athletic footsteps.
“Hopefully, one of them does track,” he said. “My daughter is quick though. She has this thing [where] she looks at you when she wants to do something. You tell her not to go outside, and she looks at you like, ‘Okay,’ but as soon as you [turn around], she’s gone. Maybe she will be the runner.”

Bolt also joked that his sons are not runners.
“My other boy, he hops when he’s running,” he said with a laugh. “I’m like, ‘Yeah, you’re not going to be a runner.’ She’s the only one that runs. The two boys, nah. Hopefully, [the boys] will grow out of it.”
The retired athlete also acknowledged the pressure that could come with any of his children entering the same sport that made him a global superstar.
“Imagine if they actually run,” he said. “That’s going to be a lot of pressure because of who your dad is. When your kid goes into the same sport, it’s like, ‘Oh, but your dad used to be like this,’ or ‘Your dad used to do this,’ so the standard is always going to be high.”
