Usher is in full girl dad mode!

The music superstar took to Instagram today to share new photos from his daughter’s recital, capturing her adorable performance day look.

Dressed in a pink outfit and matching bow, Sovereign was all smiles and her proud dad couldn’t get enough.

Usher wrote, “You yo daddy girl” Nothin’ like coming home from the road in time to catch Sovë’s recital. I love my boys but I’m in full #girldad mode.”

Mom Jenn Goicoechea also chimed in with a playful comment, referencing the duo’s poses.

“Yoooooooo it’s the R&B Cover pose. Sovë… Mommy loves you and so proud of you!!!”

Usher’s son Naviyd added some humor to the family moment, writing, “u always post me looking CHOPPED.”

Usher is a father of four. He shares sons Usher “Cinco” V and Naviyd Ely with ex-wife Tameka Foster; and daughter Sovereign Bo and son Sire Castrello with his wife, Jenn Goicoechea.

Sovereign made her debut on Sept. 24, 2020, arriving about a month early. At the time, Usher announced her birth with a sweet Instagram post featuring a photo of her tiny hand.

“We are feeling blessed and full of love with the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Sovereign Bo Raymond,” he wrote. “‘Isn’t She Lovely’ by Stevie Wonder on repeat.”

In a 2021 interview with Extra, Usher opened up about the inspiration behind his daughter’s name.

“Sovereign, man, is such a beautiful word and name to me, you know, a supreme ruler is obviously the defined name,” he shared. “She’s definitely ruling the household, but Sovereign Bo — Bo is at the end of it, so [she’s] my little ‘reign-bo.’ ”

Usher also shared with Ellen DeGeneres that Sovereign has had a strong personality from the start.

“She came out early,” he said. “She was scheduled to be a Scorpio but decided she had a different plan. Libras, you know, they kinda have their minds made up what they wanna do.”
