Usher is enjoying life with his kids. The celebrity father recently shared candids of his younger kids, Sovereign and Sire, with social media fans.
The photoshoot appeared to be in celebration of Sovereign’s birthday. The youngster turned two years old on Saturday (Sep. 24) and was definitely ready for her time in the spotlight. “Happy Birthday to my princess,” Usher wrote to his daughter. “It’s #2,” the celebrity father added.
Sovereign wasn’t the only one to take pictures. Her younger brother, Sire, was also ready for his close-up. Sire celebrated his first birthday on Thursday (Sep. 29), which made the birthday photoshoot complete. “So adorable,” one social media follower declared. Another fan deemed Sovereign as a definite “boss baby” after seeing her ability to handle a photo session.
Usher’s younger children are with his girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea. The music industry executive announced her expectancy of a son months after she welcomed her daughter. Usher introduced his and Jenn’s son to the world days after the little one’s birth.
“Hi, my name is Sire Castrello Raymond,” Usher shared in his son’s persona. “I am the newest addition to the Raymond crew,” the announcement continued. “I was born Sept 29 2021 at 6:42 pm weighing 7lbs 13oz. Hear me roar … A.K.A Ra Ra.”
Sovereign and Bo are two of four children Usher fathers. The celebrity dad has two sons, Usher V and Naviyd, with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. “I do wish that my kids listened to my music more,” Usher shared during a recent interview with Good Morning America (GMA). “My second son, Naviyd, actually is the one who listens to my music more than anything,” the ‘Yeah’ singer shared. “Usher, he doesn’t care. Sovereign, she just likes me to sing to her.”
Usher’s younger children arrived years after his older children’s birth. “I’m definitely enjoying this little baby boom of ours,” Usher shared with GMA. “This new addition to the family has just been exciting.”
