Vanessa Bell Calloway is thrilled to announce that she’s stepping into the role of grandmother!
The celebrated actress recently shared the joyous news on Instagram, revealing that her daughter, Alexandra “Ally” Calloway, along with her husband, Zachary “Zach” Prince, are eagerly anticipating their first child.
Calloway posted a series of stunning maternity photos of the expecting couple, expressing her excitement with the words, “I’m absolutely thrilled to become a #grammy. God has truly blessed our family, and I am so grateful. @allyycali @zprince.co will be fantastic parents to their baby boy! Please keep them in your prayers.”
In another heartfelt update, she added, “God is truly amazing! My little girl is expecting a baby boy! Please continue to pray for @allyycali @zprince.co as they prepare for this wonderful journey into parenthood.”
Ally and Zach’s love story began at Spelman College in 2012, and they tied the knot in November 2023. At their initial meeting, Ally was gearing up for one of her early pageant experiences.
“So a pageant was like nothing to me. I was like, okay, I’m going to dance and wear my point shoes and whatever, but people don’t see the skill in that all the time. But Zach saw me perform, and to my understanding, he was just like, ‘Oh my God. Wow. Ally Calloway is amazing and I have to have her,” she previously told ESSENCE.
“Once we were together, it was like we were inseparable,” Zach added. “But yeah, it’s so weird. I can’t attribute it to anything other than a feeling I had, and I knew I wanted to be with her. Then I looked up, and 10 years later, here we are.”
The couple recently celebrated their second wedding anniversary, and Calloway was sure to mark the occasion on social media.
She wrote, “Happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary to Mr & Mrs Prince!!! @zprince.co @allyycali Two years ago today November 25th God brought you two together as you said ‘I Do’ and our families became one! I wish you continued love and the best life possible together. May you have many many more wonderful anniversaries.”
