Television icon Vanna White, best known for her role as the co-host of Wheel of Fortune, has officially tied the knot!
The 68-year-old shared the joyous news on social media, revealing that she and her long-time partner, John Donaldson, have wed in an intimate ceremony after 14 years together.
“Surprise! We got married!” White announced on Instagram. “John and I have been in love for more than a decade, and some time ago, we decided to make it official with a private ceremony. We’re thrilled to embark on this new and joyful chapter together and share it with all of you! With love, Vanna and John.”
While White didn’t disclose the exact date of the wedding, the couple’s happiness was evident in the photos she posted, showcasing her radiant smile alongside Donaldson.
Following the announcement, numerous celebrities and fans flocked to the comments section to extend their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the newlyweds.
Maggie Sajak, daughter of White’s longtime Wheel of Fortune co-host Pat Sajak, commented on the post with a crying emoji and a heart. She also shared the image of White and Donaldson in her Instagram Story, writing, “Sooo happy for my girl and her hubby!”
Meanwhile, Jerry O’Connell took a page out of White’s book and commented, “Gimme an M. Gimme and A. Gimme an R. Gimme an R. Gimme an I. Gimme an A. A G and an E. CONGRATS!”
White’s Wheel of Fortune co-host Ryan Seacrest, who took over for Pat in 2024, also said congratulations on his Instagram Story.
White opened up about her relationship in a 2023 interview with People in which she revealed that they didn’t have plans of marrying at the time.
“I mean, we’ve been together 12 years, and I feel like we are married,” she said. “Do we have to get married? No, because we feel comfortable in our relationship. You know what I mean? I know that he’s the one. He knows I’m the one.”
She later added, “In my eyes and his eyes, we are married.”
This marks White’s second marriage.
She was previously married to George Santo Pietro from 1990 to 2002, with whom she shares two kids.
