Vicki Gunvalson Blasts Teresa Giudice’s Fraud Conviction on UGT Showdown

This girl’s getaway hit its first snag right out of the gate.

Vicki Gunvalson and Teresa Giudice wasted no time clashing during the debut episode of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th. As they strolled down memory lane, recalling two decades of Housewives melodrama, their conversation inevitably touched on the infamous legal entanglements many cast members have faced.

“For the past 15 years, everyone thinks, ‘I’m on TV, and it’s so fun,'” Giudice confided to the audience during a candid Aug. 9 season six premiere. “It’s not fun.”

Reflecting on her turbulent experiences, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star recounted her challenges over the years while in conversation with fellow Bravo personalities Porsha Williams, Kyle Richards, and Luann de Lesseps.

“I’ve gone away,” Giudice shared during a yacht outing in scenic Orange County. “I signed a refinance my ex-husband handed me, using my credit. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would land me in jail.”

As she recalled it was financial decisions made by now-ex Joe Giudice—who served 41 months before being deported to Italy—while running a construction and mortgage business that led her to face “mortgage fraud.”
