Victoria Beckham recently shared an emotional moment backstage with actress Lily Collins, following a touching encounter on The Tonight Show. Collins, a self-proclaimed Spice Girls superfan, was visibly moved when the iconic fashion designer and former pop star surprised her during the show.

Appearing alongside host Jimmy Fallon, Collins, known for her role in “Emily In Paris,” was left momentarily speechless as Beckham made an unexpected entrance on stage. The 36-year-old actress was overwhelmed with emotion, revealing that meeting Beckham was a dream come true, even reminiscing about sporting the singer’s famous bob hairstyle in her youth.

After the heartfelt interaction, the two women shared a memorable moment backstage, capturing the occasion with a photograph. The image, taken in front of The Tonight Show’s logo, showcased both Beckham and Collins, highlighting their stylish flair and camaraderie.

Lily appeared to channel her inner Victoria as they both boasted neutral expressions for the capture.

Victoria simply captioned the image: ‘Kisses @lilycollins xx.’

In another Instagram story, Victoria could be seen bending down to sign original Spice Girls records.

She said: ‘For the lovely @spicegirls fans waiting in the cold!’

Victoria then called it a night and could be seen donning a floor-length grey suede coat before heading for her car. 

Before Victoria had came out on stage during the show, Jimmy asked Lily if she was still in her Posh Spice era.

She replied: ‘I hope I never leave my Posh era.’

Victoria then called it a night and could be seen donning a floor-length grey suede coat before heading for her car

He then pulled up a side-by-side photo of Lily and Victoria striking similar poses, prompting the actress to joke that Posh will ‘always do it better’.

Jimmy then shocked Lily as he brought Victoria out, after the star said she’d never met her.

As they sat across from each other, Victoria complimented Lily on her hair do, saying hers was ‘a lot shinier’. 

‘No, no, no,’ Lily replied, adding, ‘Well, thank you, but no, I could never out-shine, no.’

Jimmy then asked Victoria how she got her famous nickname Posh. ‘I’ve always wanted to know that too,’ Lily quipped.

‘Well I was given that nickname because I used to like nice clothes and nice restaurants,’ Victoria replied. ‘In actual fact, it really helped me out because in the Spice Girls, the other girls didn’t like designer clothes. So when we would do videos or go on stage, they were happy to just wear all the free stuff and I got all the budget.’

‘I like how you think,’ Lily said, clearly impressed.

Elsewhere, during her interview with Jimmy, Victoria revealed how it was her husband David who convinced her to do her Netflix documentary.

She explained: ‘I said no at the beginning and it was my team who convinced me to do it and my husband who made me do it.’ 

‘I was in the Spice Girls for four years and it’s a time I am so proud of, but I was so defined by that four-year period.

‘I’ve been in the fashion industry for twenty years now and it just felt like the right time to reflect and move forward. Working on this documentary was like a year’s intense therapy, it really was.

‘It’s made me feel so proud after all these years of struggle, it’s been 20 years of struggle with the fashion business, it’s a tough, tough industry. I’ve been told no so much my entire life and I’ve worked hard.’
