R&B group WanMor drops new single, “Mine.”
These four brothers are truly poised to have a massive 2023 and it is starting with their new single, “Mine.”
According to Hype Magazine, “Mine” showcases the impressive interplay between the guys as they trade melodies over bouncy upbeat production. It builds towards a towering crescendo on the chorus with a lovestruck question, “Can you believe she’s mine?” The song seamlessly channels throwback R&B with a dose of 21st century attitude.
WanMor commented themselves on the song saying that, “’Mine’ is about our feelings for the girl we always wanted. Being impressed by her in every way and wanting to tell everybody.”
If you remember, Big Boy, Chulo, Tyvas, and Rocco signed with Mary J. Blige’s new label, Beautiful Life Productions and 300 Entertainment, dropping their first single, “Every Pretty Girl In The City.”
At the time of their signing, Blige had this to say about the group:
There’s been so much conversation about the state of R&B and the next generation of R&B artists,” says Mary J. Blige. “This generation has been giving us great R&B, and that feeling, that soul, and that sound remains in our DNA. When we heard WanMor sing, we knew we could stop looking. They are IT! It is no wonder that these four young men are full of talent as they are the sons of Wanyá Morris of Boyz II Men. R&B is literally in their DNA.
