Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding will be an event unlike any other other, an expert predicts. 

The Folklore singer’s big day “will be nothing short of iconic,” Akeshi Akinseye, an award-winning celebrations expert and celebrity wedding planner told Showbiz Cheat Sheet. “Her attention to detail, her love for storytelling, and her refined aesthetic will shine through every element.”

Swift hasn’t yet shared any details about her upcoming celebration. But Akinseye predicts the billionaire pop star’s signature style will shine through.  

“I envision an intimate yet grand affair—possibly at a romantic European estate or private vineyard—with soft lighting, lush florals, and old-world charm,” the founder and CEO of Chicago-based Kesh Events, said. “Her style will lean toward couture fashion with vintage elegance and poetic symbolism, curated across a multi-day experience.”

But the wedding won’t just be about Swift and her vision. Her romance with her NFL player fiancé will be at the heart of the sure-to-be-glamorous nuptials.

“Their personalities complement each other beautifully, and there are endless ways to reflect that,” Akinseye said. “They might incorporate lyrics into ceremony readings or stationery, create signature cocktails inspired by shared moments, and curate scent experiences that evoke memory. A nod to Travis’s sports background could even show up in fun, unexpected details—like a curated afterparty or bespoke lounge experience.”

Fans will have to wait and see exactly what Swift’s wedding looks like – she and Kelce haven’t even announced a date or a location for their “I do’s.” But whether she has a grand affair in jaw-dropping location or opts for something more restrained, expect to see those choices reflected in future wedding trends. 

“Her wedding will set the tone for what’s next in luxury celebration,” Akinseye said. 

Brides-to-be will likely be looking at “vintage-style engagement rings and heirloom details,” she predicted. More couples might also consider multi-day celebrations with an intimate guest list, as well as a focus on “privacy as the ultimate luxury” and “a shift to personalization over spectacle.” 

Of course, planning a wedding can be stressful, even when you’re as wealthy as Swift. Akinseye says she’d advise her and Kelce to focus on what is most important to them as they plan to start their next chapter together, and to find a team that will help them turn their dreams into reality. 

“Focus on what feels meaningful. Don’t aim to impress the world—aim to create a day that feels honest, joyful, and uniquely yours,” she said of what she’d tell the couple as they prepare to head to the altar. “Surround yourself with a team you trust who understands discretion and can bring your vision to life with intention and ease. Protect your peace—and don’t forget to enjoy it all.”
