A lip-reading expert has shared what the Duke of Sussex instructed his wife to do during the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle kicked off the seventh edition of the annual Invictus Games in Vancouver, Canada, on Feb. 8, with a star-studded opening ceremony.

The event kicked off at Vancouver’s B.C. Place Stadium and featured a lineup of recording artists including Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, and Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

The Duke of Sussex also took the stage and cameras captured him saying something to his wife just before they shared a kiss and he gave a speech. Now, a lip-reading expert has uncovered what Harry told Meghan to do.

Here’s what that was, plus what another expert thinks about all the PDA we’ve been seeing from the couple.

The Sussexes were seen looking cozy together and enjoying the acts performing from their seats during the Invictus opening ceremony. And during one emotional moment, Meghan was seen laying her head on Harry’s shoulder. The couple also kissed before Harry took the stage to deliver his remarks and kick off the competition.

Those who saw the moment noticed Harry appear to say five words to Meghan as he rose from his seat.

Professional lip reader Nicola Hickling analyzed the duke and duchess’s interaction and told The Sun: “For the first part of the clip, Harry says ‘give us a kiss then.’”

To which Meghan gives him a smooch and says: “All the best.”

Expert says they haven’t seen such strong PDA from the Sussexes in a while

Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.” He noted that he hadn’t seen this much PDA from Meghan and Harry in a long time.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Casino, Stanton shared: “I don’t think I have seen such strong public displays of affection between Meghan and Harry in quite some time. These images take you back to the start of their relationship. They appear to be stronger than ever. You see a lot of reciprocal gestures of love — prolonged eye contact, eye gazing, and genuine smiles.

“It appears that they are both in their own little bubble, which is a surefire sign that people are really in love. Their interactions are very reminiscent of what we see with Kate and William. They still look to be a very strong couple.”

The expert added that their actions seemed “genuine” rather than staged for the cameras, saying: “Their physical closeness suggests that they are fully in support of each other. They are in town for the Invictus Games, which is Harry’s baby, and she is clearly very supportive of that. You can see from Meghan’s interactions that she’s happy to see him in his element. Her hug around his arm and the genuine smiles on both their faces prove she is overjoyed to be available to support him during his time there.”
