If you’re a fan of MAX‘s The Pitt, we have some good news and some bad news. On the bright side, Dr. Robby’s (Noah Wyle) absolutely no-good, terrible, awful, traumatic shift from hell is almost over. That’s good for Dr. Robby! However, the downside is that’s because The Pitt Season 1 is almost over. The Pitt Episode 15 “9 AM” is the MAX show’s first season finale and it drops tonight.

The Pitt is MAX’s new medical drama set in the emergency department of the fictional Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital. The entire first season takes place over one chaotic fifteen-hour-long shift. When Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch arrives at work, he thinks his biggest problems is going to be wrestling with the fact that it’s the fifth anniversary of his friend and mentor’s death. In fact, he’ll also have to deal with an assault on head charge nurse Dana Evans (Katherine LaNasa), discovering friend and protege Dr. Frank Langdon (Patrick Ball) has been stealing benzos from his patients, learning ex-girlfriend Dr. Heather Collins (Tracey Ifeachor) is not only suffering a miscarriage, but also once had an abortion, and, oh, yeah, a mass casualty event.

Last week’s The Pitt Episode 14 “8 PM” ended with Dr. Cassie McKay (Fiona Dourif) being arrested for tampering with her malfunctioning ankle monitor while shooting victims were being rolled in. Will Dr. McKay go to jail? Will Dr. Robby find peace? When does the next episode of The Pitt premiere on MAX?
