No shade to the Eastern Conference, but the first round of the Western Conference playoffs are truly insane.

The buzziest matchup is the star-studded Lakers/TWolves series. The shocking midseason trade that brought transcendent superstar Luka Doncic to Los Angeles invigorated the Lakers, but, unfortunately, they face an ascendant Timberwolves team coming off a 2024 Western Conference Finals appearance.
