We have two pieces of business to handle before we get to the Raising Kanan of it all. First, the fourth season of BMF finally premieres Friday, June 6 on Starz. And what about the Power of it all? We’re glad you asked! The third and final season of Power Book IV: Force debuts this fall on the network.

Unfortunately, the fourth season finale of Raising Kanan aired a few weeks ago. So if you tune in to Starz tonight, you’ll be greeted by the 2023 action comedy Polite Society. On the bright side, the film is Certified Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes!

Has Raising Kanan been renewed for a fifth season? When will Raising Kanan return with new episodes? Here’s everything we know.

Does Raising Kanan Come On Tonight? (May 30)?

Nope. The Season 4 finale aired Friday, May 16 on Starz.

How Many Episodes Are There of Raising Kanan Season 4?

Raising Kanan Season 4 consists of ten episodes.

Will There Be A Season 5 of Raising Kanan?

You better believe it! Starz has renewed Power Book III: Raising Kanan for a fifth and final season.

“From the very beginning, when I pitched the show, it was five seasons, because I felt like beyond that, I just wasn’t sure where the story would go,” Raising Kanan showrunner Sascha Penn told Deadline. “People know how Kanan’s story ends, and that’s always been the challenge with this show: when you know the ending, are you that interested in the journey? The good news is, people have been. Five seasons seemed right to me.”

When Does Raising Kanan Return With New Episodes?

Production on Season 5 has already wrapped, but no official premiere date has been announced. The third season of Raising Kanan ended in February 2024, with Season 4 premiering in March 2025. Based on everything we know, we expect the fifth and final season to debut in early to mid-2026 on Starz.
