Dan Fogelman’s hit Hulu series Paradise may have wrapped its first season on March 4, but it’s finding a whole new fanbase ahead of its second season as it airs Season 1 episodes weekly on ABC.

The gripping political thriller is set in a curious community populated by the world’s most prominent figures, including Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown), Secret Service agent to President Cal Bradford (James Marsden), and the chief suspect in his mysterious murder. As Xavier sets out to prove his innocence, find the real killer, and recover stolen government intel, he uncovers secrets about those in his circle and reevaluates everything he thought he knew to be true.

Alongside Brown and Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Jon Beavers, and Krys Marshall deliver powerful performances that will keep viewers hooked, howling, and hypothesizing week after week. On February 20, ahead of the show’s Season 1 finale, Hulu renewed Paradise for Season 2, with Fogelman revealing he has a three-season arc for the series already planned out.

“I have a plan for three seasons of the show. Without giving away too much, each season of the show is a slightly different show, within the same show with the same characters,” Fogelman told The Hollywood Reporter. “…As we go into second season, we pivot a little bit, but in a way that I think is very follow-able. But yes, there’s big moves ahead.”

Since publishing our original Season 2 piece, four names have been added to the sophomore season cast: Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty, Michael McGrady, and Timothy Omundson.
