Dandadan‘s epic Season 2 has officially come to an end. But should fans be expecting more new episodes from the series?

Based on the popular manga Dandadan created by Yukinobu Tatsu, Season 2 of the eccentric anime sets Okarun, Momo and Jiji on a path even more dangerous than the aliens and demons they battled in Season 1. The new season, which is streaming now, kicks off with Momo and Okarun visiting Jiji’s hometown to investigate what paranormal entity has taken over his home. But what they find is worse than they could have imagined when they uncover a giant Death Worm hiding beneath the house.

Season 2 is a whirlwind, with Okarun and Momo battling even more spirits, culminating in a major showdown against a giant Buddha robot. But the season ends on a major cliffhanger when the robot is revealed to contain a mysterious beautiful girl, who could be a threat to Momo.

What ensues makes for an even zanier and absurd season than the first, cementing it yet again as one of the best anime series airing on television right now.
