This Thanksgiving, television enthusiasts have plenty of reasons to be grateful, especially with ABC’s popular 9-1-1 franchise making waves.

Following the October debut of Season 9 of 9-1-1 and the inaugural season of its new spinoff, 9-1-1: Nashville, Thursday evenings have been packed with thrilling tales from the 118 and 113 firehouses. However, fans were left without new episodes last week. So, is 9-1-1: Nashville returning tonight, or will there be a longer wait for fresh content?

To recap, Episode 6 featured the 113 crew tackling a blaze at a distillery owned by Blythe’s father, Edward, played by Tim Matheson, while the city grappled with a cyberattack. The episode ended on a cliffhanger with Blythe, portrayed by Jessica Capshaw, experiencing a dramatic fall from her horse. Naturally, viewers are eager to see what unfolds next!

Is 9-1-1: Nashville On Tonight (November 27)?

Regrettably, 9-1-1: Nashville will not air tonight. Though ABC featured three reruns of the show last week, this Thursday, November 27, will see the network broadcasting the cherished 1964 classic, Mary Poppins, starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dyke, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET.

Is 9-1-1: Nashville Over?

Nope! Thankfully, 9-1-1: Nashville is only on hiatus for a few weeks and will return with new episodes in 2026.

So when does 9-1-1: Nashville return with new episodes on ABC? After its midseason finale aired on November 13, 9-1-1: Nashville went on hiatus and will be taking several weeks in November and the full month of December off. Unfortunately, there won’t be any more new episodes of 9-1-1: Nashville airing in 2025, but fear not! In 2026, 9-1-1: Nashville will be back with new episodes ASAP on Thursday, January 8, right after the midseason return of 9-1-1 Season 9.

When the series returns, 9-1-1: Nashville Episode 7 will premiere on Thursday, January 8, 2026 in its typical time slot. Tune in to ABC at 9:00 p.m. ET.

How Many Episodes Are In 9-1-1: Nashville Season 1?

Like 9-1-1 Season 9, 9-1-1: Nashville‘s debut season will consist of 18 episodes, which means when the show returns, fans still have 12 more episodes to look forward to.
