Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2 Ending Explained:

The Season 6, Part 2 finale was… a vibe.

Kwon and Zara advance to the finals of the Sekai Taikai, with two more semifinal bouts remaining: Sam vs. Tory and the Robby/Axel showdown. Axel has a commanding 5-0 lead on Robby when all hell breaks loose.

Axel shoves Robby off the mat and into the Cobra Kai area. Kwon cheap shots Robby, which leads to Miguel running over to defend his friend. That leads to Axel, jealous that Miguel is dating Sam, pushing Miguel to the mat. Things are extremely tense but manageable… until out of nowhere Sensei Ivanov blindsides the Sekai Taikai host Gunther, knocking him out with a single punch.

This leads to an all-out karate war.

During the melee, Kreese checks to ensure he has his eunjangdo knife (the one he retrieved during Season 6, Episode 2) as he attempts to locate and kill Terry Silver. But he loses his weapon during the chaos of the brawl.

The fracas continues as Kwon eventually kicks Sam. This angers Axel, who attacks Kwon and gets the better of him during their scuffle. Kwon finds Kreese’s knife and tries to use it against Axel. The two simultaneously attempt to strike each other, but Kwon fatally lands on the knife.

Everyone stops fighting as Daniel rolls Kwon over to discover the knife sticking out of his chest. Gunther yells to cut the live feed, and, well, that’s a wrap on Season 6, Part 2.

The final five episodes of Cobra Kai premiere Thursday, February 13 at 3:00 a.m. ET on Netflix.
