Tulsa King Season 3 is finally here—well, at least the first episode!

The crime drama from Taylor Sheridan starring Sylvester Stallone returned for its third season on Sunday (Sept. 21), welcoming Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr.before he leads the show’s upcoming spinoff, Nola King, which as its name suggests, is set in New Orleans.

The series also boasts the talents of Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Robert Patrick, Beau Knapp, Bella Heathcote, Chris Caldovino, McKenna Quigley Harrington, Mike “Cash Flo” Walden, Kevin Pollak, Vincent Piazza, Frank Grillo, Michael Beach, James Russo, Garrett Hedlund and Dana Delany.

As for what is the most exciting part of playing Dwight Manfredi, Stallone teased to DECIDER that Dwight “is a manifestation of [his] inner longing to play [him]self on screen.”

“I’m able to draw on my own experience and own natural rhythm for Dwight,” he explained. “I’m not trying to chase some other actor’s’ performance as a mafia guy. I’m just trying to be original.”

The new season of Tulsa King arrives just under a week after the series also renewed for a fourth season at Paramount+. Wondering where Tulsa King Season 3 was filmed?
