The highly anticipated Japanese anime film, Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, is set to make its debut in U.S. theaters this weekend. The studio behind the film is keen to see if it can replicate the remarkable success of Demon Slayer.

Just last month, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Releasing shattered records with Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle, achieving the largest opening weekend box office for an anime film in the U.S. This achievement may have influenced the decision to advance the U.S. release of Chainsaw Man by five days, offering it in IMAX, 4DX, and RealD 3D formats.

Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc serves as a direct follow-up to the anime TV series’ first season, which is inspired by Tatsuki Fujimoto’s popular manga. The original Japanese voice cast, including Kikunosuke Toya, Reina Ueda, Fairouz Ai, and Tomori Kusunoki, returns for this cinematic installment. The English dub features voices from Ryan Colt Levy, Alexis Tipton, Sarah Wiedenheft, and Suzie Yeung.

For anime enthusiasts looking forward to this release, here’s how to catch Chainsaw Man in theaters and details on its eventual streaming availability on Crunchyroll.

Where to watch the Chainsaw Man movie:

In the U.S., Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc will debut exclusively in theaters this Friday, October 24. Tickets can be purchased through Fandango for screenings in local cinemas. As of now, the movie is not available for online streaming or digital platforms.

Is the Chainsaw Man Reze Arc movie streaming on Netflix or Hulu?

Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc not streaming on Netflix or Hulu in the U.S. at this time. Right now, you can only watch the movie in a theater.

That said, the movie is being released by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures in North America, so it’s likely you will see the Chainsaw Man movie streaming on Crunchyroll eventually, and streaming on Hulu and Netflix after that.

Crunchyroll is a subscription streaming service that hosts a lot of anime content. Prices range from $7.99–$15.99 a month, and they currently offer a 14-day free trial.

When will the Chainsaw Man Reze movie be streaming on Crunchyroll?

The Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc Crunchyroll release date has not yet been announced, but we can make an educated guess as to when Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc will be on Crunchyroll, based on previous Crunchyroll/Sony Pictures Releasing movies.

Last year, Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom—another Crunchyroll/Sony release in the U.S.—was released in U.S. theaters on November 7, 2024, and began streaming on Crunchyroll on April 24, 2025, about five-and-a-half months after its U.S. theatrical release.

So, if Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc follows a similar release pattern, you might see Chainsaw Man The Movie: Reze Arc streaming on Crunchyroll in about five-and-a-half-months, around early-to-mid April 2026.

But right now, the movie is not on Crunchyroll, or on Netflix or Hulu. If you want to watch the Chainsaw Man movie right away, you’ll have to see it in a movie theater when it opens in U.S. theaters on October 24. In the meantime, you can stream the Chainsaw anime series on Hulu and Crunchyroll.
