Like Sweeney, Braun also attended the Amazon founder’s wedding. A video showed him and the Sharp Objects star walking the streets of Venice, Italy. But it wasn’t until they got back to the States and were spotted together that romance rumors kicked into overdrive.

When they were caught on camera showing some PDA, it was clear they had something going on. An insider is now sharing details about their relationship and shutting down talk that it’s just a “casual” fling.

“They are dating, and it has become more serious … Sydney has been having a lot of fun with Scooter. It has been low-pressure for both of them and has been a different relationship for Sydney. Scooter has introduced her to new perspectives, especially when it comes to business,” the source told Us Weekly.

Another source explained, “It’s not a casual relationship. It’s game on–it’s full throttle. They are together.” That person also revealed that Braun “really likes her,” and told Page Six, they’ve “never” heard him sound like this about any other woman before.

The insider added, “What really stood out to Sydney was at Jeff Bezos’s wedding. Everyone else was trying to hit on her, but Scooter wasn’t. That’s what caught her attention and made her feel like his intentions were real.” Their relationship is “easy and natural … It’s kind of random, for sure. [But] sometimes those pairings work.”

Before he started seeing Sweeney, Braun was married to Yael Cohen. They split after seven years of marriage and share three children: Jagger, Levi, and Hart. As for Sweeney, she was previously engaged to Jonathan Davino, but the two ended things in March after four years together.
