Following her unexpected departure from Dancing With The Stars and a brief hiatus from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Whitney Leavitt is set to make her return for the show’s fourth season on Hulu.

According to Variety, Leavitt announced her comeback during the Dancing With The Stars finale on Tuesday, an event that saw Robert Irwin taking home the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.

Leavitt has been a central figure on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives since its premiere on Hulu in 2024. This reality series chronicles the lives of #MomTok influencers as they deal with the repercussions of a significant scandal that tested their bonds and friendships.

Her absence was felt during much of Season 3, and she faced criticism after admitting in a confessional that her return was largely motivated by the opportunity to join Dancing With The Stars.

“After last season, I decided to take a step back from the show, but I never left MomTok,” Leavitt explained on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, as reported by E! News. “I remained part of the group. I just needed some time off. However, when I heard from my team that Dancing With the Stars was interested in casting someone from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, it was a motivator for me to return.”

The revelation may have led Dancing With The Stars viewers to vote her off. Leavitt was eliminated from the ABC competition series Nov. 18 during Prince Week with her professional partner Mark Ballas.

Leavitt candidly addressed her statement on DWTS before she was eliminated. “After two seasons of doing the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, I wanted to take a break. But once I found out that his would be an opportunity for all of the girls to go after this, I wanted to take that chance,” she told Julianne Hough, before adding, “I’m just having the time of my life and I couldn’t be more grateful.”

After her elimination, Leavitt took to social media and said it felt like she was ” going through withdrawals” from the show.

Now, she will be reuniting with her fellow #MomTok influencers in Secret Lives of Mormon Wives Season 4.

A premiere date for the new season has not been announced just yet. But fans will get to see the stars debrief on Season 3’s drama in the upcoming reunion, which airs on Hulu Dec. 4.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming now on Hulu.
