A new chapter unfolds as Wunmi, the widow of the late Afrobeats artist Mohbad, finally speaks out amidst the swirling DNA controversy involving her father-in-law, Joseph Aloba.
Olawunmi has found herself in the spotlight due to a highly publicized dispute with Joseph Aloba concerning the paternity of her son, Liam.
Joseph Aloba has insisted on conducting a DNA test to confirm Liam’s parentage, while Wunmi maintains her willingness to proceed with the test, accusing her father-in-law of hindering the process.
Wunmi Breaks Silence
In a TikTok livestream, Olawunmi expressed her indifference to her father-in-law’s tactics, stressing the importance of him following the court’s directive, which includes apologizing to her.
She warned that non-compliance with the court’s order would only extend their ongoing conflict.
”If you are not going back to that, we will be in this battle for too long. 20 years, I’m still here. You have no power over Liam”, She firmly stated.
According to Wunmi, she initially requested a DNA test, but decided to remain silent amid recent rumors about Liam’s DNA test.
The mother of one claimed that her father-in-law never informed her about conducting a DNA test on Liam, while venting about it online.
“Everybody has family issues that they are dealing with. You never wanted it from the beginning. The next thing you did was going to my lawyer was to serve them“,She added.
