Now, rumors are swirling that Sanchez and Bezos have officially set a wedding date, almost two years after announcing their engagement. That has left one big question: Will Sanchez sign a prenuptial agreement?
When are Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez getting married?
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez announced their engagement in May 2023. Since then, the couple has traversed the globe together. They’ve been spotted together at several events, and insiders claimed they are as “loved up” as you could imagine.
Still, no wedding date came. An insider told the Daily Mail that friends and family initially anticipated a summer 2024 wedding, but no invitation came.
The duo didn’t say “I do” in 2024, but insiders were right about the season. According to The New York Post, invites to the Bezos-Sanchez wedding are in the mail. The publication claims the couple will tie the knot in June 2025 on a private yacht. Reportedly, the nuptials will take place off the coast of Italy.
Bezos and Sanchez have yet to comment on the rumors. However, Italy feels like a natural pick for the pair. The proposal took place on Bezos’ yacht while the couple vacationed in Europe. Sanchez was first spotted wearing a massive engagement ring, valued at over $2 million, as the couple took in the sights in Italy.

Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez appear together in public all the time, but they don’t really discuss the ins and outs of their relationship. Especially now, as their wedding date is rumored to be drawing near. While the couple has not opened up about the potential of a prenuptial agreement, experts have debated the topic since the pair first stepped out together.
Most experts agree that Bezos’ legal representation wouldn’t “allow” the Amazon mogul to walk down the aisle without a prenuptial agreement in place. Several experts have argued that a prenup might have tied up wedding plans.
Bezos’ enormous net worth, their children from previous relationships, and properties mean the agreement he and Sanchez come to would likely be complicated. It wouldn’t be uncommon for negotiations to take place, either.
We may never know if the pair agreed to a prenuptial agreement, but experts seem confident that Bezos has managed to protect his fortune. MacKenzie Scott, Bezos’ ex-wife, has already been remarried and divorced again. She had a prenuptial agreement when she tied the knot for a second time in 2021. Her second divorce was finalized in 2023.
