True crime enthusiasts are riveted by Stalking Samantha: 13 Years of Terror and the Grace Van Patten-led miniseries The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox (Hulu), sports fans can’t get enough of the entertaining docuseries America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys on Netflix, and we’re devouring new episodes of Dexter: Resurrection (Paramount+) and Prime Video’s new Daniel Dae Kim-led spy thriller Butterfly.

When it comes to Starz, we’re currently streaming new episodes of Outlander: Blood of My Blood and BMF. But sadly, one of those shows just aired its season finale. Is BMF airing a new episode this week? Has the series been renewed for a fifth season? Here’s everything we know.

The fourth season consists of ten episodes.

Is BMF Airing a New Episode on Starz This Week?

Nope. The fourth season finale (“Dreams Deferred”) premiered Friday, August 15 on Starz.

Has BMF Been Renewed For Season 5?

Not yet. Starz has yet to make a decision regarding a fifth season of BMF. In February 2025, 50 Cent shared some texts on Instagram (since deleted) that were allegedly from BMF actor Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr. (who portrays his real-life father Big Meech on the series).

50 shared the texts, which included Lil Meech referencing another season of BMF, and added the message “what next season little [ninja emoji],” which fueled speculation that the fourth season could be the final installment of the series.

The Getting It How I Live YouTube page recapped the fourth season finale and posited that “it could potentially be the final season,” but that the show also “left a lot of storylines open.” Based on the events of the final episode, I think the show will return for a fifth (and possibly final) season, but that’s pure speculation.
