With Eight Contestants Remaining in ‘The Traitors’ Season 4, Here’s Our Ranking of Their Deservedness to Win

For enthusiasts of The Traitors, the series is approaching its climax.

**Warning: This article contains spoilers about the latest eliminations from Episode 8, currently available on Peacock**

As Season 4 nears its conclusion, with only two episodes left, the recent eliminations of Dorinda Medley and Stephen Colletti have left fans eagerly speculating about potential outcomes for the remaining eight contestants. Veteran Traitor Rob Rausch still has a significant advantage with his hidden dagger, which he must use in the upcoming episode or lose its power. Remarkably, he remains under the radar, with no suspicion cast his way.

Conversely, Olympic figure skating duo Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir find themselves in precarious positions, struggling to survive another day in the game. Similarly, new Traitor recruit Eric Nam is feeling the heat, particularly under the scrutiny of Kristen Kish, and showing signs of stress.

As the final roundtable approaches before the ultimate reckoning, here’s our ranking of the remaining eight players in The Traitors Season 4, assessing who is least to most deserving of victory…

THE TRAITORS 406 DORINDA SCREAMING
  1. Maura Higgins – Faithful

I need us to all be brutally honest with ourselves and admit that, aside from castle fits that could kill and an incredible Irish accent that makes everything she says sound incredible, Maura has been one of the least helpful Faithfuls in Season 4. Not only does she often not contribute to productive conversations about finding the next Traitor, she hasn’t exactly been the most handy during challenges or at roundtables. People have won for doing less, but that doesn’t mean she deserves to be splitting the pot at the end of the game.

  2. Eric Nam – Traitor

Oh Eric, you sweet, innocent, baby Traitor. My man cannot hear to save his life and cannot identify handwriting to figure out anything, but I do think he’s making game decisions logically and there is something to be said for that. Although, part of me thinks he’s just being used by Rob as a shield, which only makes his own gameplay better in my eyes. As for Eric, he’s actively led or been part of several misguided witch hunts and while I would have loved to bump him up the list, he couldn’t even defend himself against Kristen’s line of questioning. I don’t think he was prepared to play as a Faithful or a Traitor, honestly. Love him, though!

  3. Mark Ballas – Faithful

We love Mark eternally over here but he hasn’t made the biggest splash in The Traitors Season 4. Apart from a few moments here and there and some assists during the challenges, Mark has managed to stick around by flying almost completely under the radar. Of course, there is a strategy to that, but I almost wish he had been louder or more confident from the start. He does get some points for his most recent comments at the roundtable, telling the group that he wouldn’t blindly trust any of his dance partners if they were in the castle with him, but even that was in the context of Johnny and Tara’s close-knit bond, and they’re both Faithfuls. Sorry, Mark.

  4. Johnny Weir AND Tara Lipinski – Faithful

These two are clearly willing to play together and die together, it’s only fair we rank them together, right? Considering that they have, for the most part, been equally unhelpful in finding Traitors — Lipinski said it herself in Episode 8, telling producers that she doesn’t know how she’s still alive as she is “so bad” at this game — we think they deserve to be near the bottom of the list. We are, however, considering that they are both actively being used as shields for the two remaining Traitors, so they get a few extra points in our books. Plus, they are hilarious every once in a while — see Johnny’s picture of Tara on his nightstand — so maybe we wouldn’t be mad if they got the win.

  5. Kristen Kish – Faithful

While she may have been way off with Colton Underwood, Kristen Kish has been one of the loudest Traitor hunters in the game and fully subscribed to following her gut. The Top Chef host is often not on the right track but she’s always willing to speak up and help her fellow Faithfuls figure out a strategy for the next roundtable. It’s not worthy of the win, in our book, but it does deserve a shoutout for the persistence. Oh, and she’s discerning enough to crack the case on Eric Nam in the most recent episode, so clearly she has some good judgment.

  6. Natalie Anderson – Faithful

Survivor winner, Amazing Race finalist, and now Traitors Season 4 contestant near the finish line, despite having her name thrown out week after week, Natalie Anderson has managed to keep herself in the game. For as beast-mode as she goes during the physical challenges, she reaches the same level at the roundtables when she’s backed into a corner, fighting her way out and throwing the vote in a completely different direction. She’s also played the game on a razor’s edge, speaking up only when it’s really required of her and keeping quiet when it’s not to her benefit. I wish she had been a little bit better at singling out the Traitors, but there’s still a winner in there somewhere.

  7. Rob Rausch – Traitor

Without a doubt, there is no one in this season — perhaps in all of Traitors U.S. history — that deserves the win like Rob Rausch does. This snake in the grass has dominated the physical elements of the game, the social aspect, and the manipulation, all without taking it personally or breaking a sweat. On no less than half a dozen occasions, I have had to pause an episode, shake my head, and declare, “Damn, that was a smart move.” Hell, he’s so good that even eliminated Faithfuls like Ron Funches and Yam Yam Arocho are rooting for him. Regardless of what happens at the final circle of truth, this is my winner.
