'Wizards from Beyond Waverly Place' Will Return for Season 2!

Fans of the Wizards of Waverly Place, reboot, Wizards Beyond Waverly Place are about to rejoice as Disney has dropped the news that the series will be back and is renewed for season 2!

To announce the exciting news, the entire cast shared a magically cute video on social media to make the announcement. Star David Henrie shared the video captioning it, “What’s that? A Hat…with a special message! Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Season 2 is coming to @disneychannel and @disneyplus! Let’s go!!!!”

Henrie also shared in a statement that, “I’m overwhelmed by all the love for the series and ready to keep serving this new generation of ‘Wizards’ fans with more Russo magic, while continuing to deliver a big warm hug to the original fan!”

He concluded, “So many surprises in store for this second season. It’s going to be big, so stay tuned!”

Additionally, Janice LeeAnn Brown also shared two-images on her own social media, excitedly telling fans that she “… can’t wait to feel the magic again…”

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place picks up after a mysterious incident at WizTech, where an adult Justin Russo (David Henrie) has left his wizard powers behind, opting for a normal, human life with his wife and two sons. But he gets a surprise when a powerful young wizard (Janice LeeAnn Brown) in need of training shows up at his door… and Justin must embrace his past to ensure the future of the Wizard World.

In addition to Henrie and Brown, the series also stars Selena Gomez, who also starred in the original series, Taylor Cora, Alkaio Thiele, Max Matenko, and Mimi Gianopulos.
