Woody McClain is preparing for his biggest role yet-fatherhood. The Power star announced on Saturday, April 19, that he’s expecting twin girls.

Taking to Instagram, McClain shared a photo of a balloon arrangement and a sign that read “TWINS.”

In the caption, he included a special detail, writing, “Help me Welcome @emilyandamaya follow to get real time updates,” tagging an account with the names of his soon-to-be baby girls, Emily and Amaya.

“Help me Welcome @emilyandamaya follow to get real time updates.”

The big reveal comes after McClain initially teased the news weeks earlier. On April 1, he posted two pregnancy tests—one reading “Pregnant” and the other showing a bold plus sign.

He included an ultrasound photo, captioning the post, “Mini-me Otw.”

Because the post landed on April Fools’ Day, many fans weren’t sure whether to take it seriously.

“I would’ve been upset if it wasn’t April 1,” one follower commented.

“Woody, out of all days to announce this lmao why PLAY,” another added.

While McClain has yet to confirm who the mother is, online speculation has pointed to his longtime, on-and-off girlfriend, Charli. The two have reportedly been dating for over seven years.

Charli also recently announced her pregnancy on March 25, writing, “Motherhood Here I Come. #FirstTimeMom.”

She followed up with a gender reveal post not long after, which featured pink and blue balloons just like in McClain’s photo.

Neither McClain nor Charli have confirmed whether they’re expecting together.

McClain, however, has been unboxing gifts from friends and different companies.
