Wunmi Mosaku made a striking entrance at the 98th Academy Awards held on March 15 at the iconic Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, accompanied by her husband, talent manager Tash Moseley.

The actress dazzled in a custom-made, shimmering green Louis Vuitton gown that elegantly accentuated her baby bump.

This ensemble is just one of many daring and bold silhouettes Mosaku has recently showcased on the red carpet. These fashion statements are often crafted in collaboration with stylist Shameelah Hicks, who emphasizes the importance of color in their selections.

“She has a passion for color,” Hicks remarked about Mosaku’s fashion preferences. Their aim for the Oscars was to ensure the outfit was infused with vibrant hues that truly stood out.

The night carries added significance for Mosaku. She is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Sinners, where she plays Annie, a hoodoo priestess who serves as a steady presence throughout the 2025 film.

“This is the moment that I have worked 20 years towards,” Mosaku said in a Glamour interview while reflecting on the role. “This film just really made me stop focusing on what I had lost, and actually see what we have retained.”

When she is not attending premieres or award shows, Mosaku is busy taking her daughter to dance classes or to see her best friends.

“It gives me a different drive. I was driven before I had my daughter, but it gives me a new clarity. Now it’s not just a job – it’s time away from her. I’m very cautious about who I choose to spend my time with,” she shared in her interview.

Mosaku and Moseley have been together since 2018. The couple welcomed their first child in 2024 and are now preparing to welcome their second.
