Can you believe we’re less than two weeks away from WrestleMania 41?! Before we get to tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw, we have to discuss what went down on SmackDown.
In a sad bit of real-life news, beloved WWE Superstar Kevin Owens announced that he’ll miss WrestleMania due to a neck injury. Get well soon, KO. The show also included a heated exchange between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair — the WWE version edited the end, but the WWE on USA YouTube page has the entire segment — Jacob Fatu defeating Braun Strowman to earn the right to battle LA Knight for the United States title at WrestleMania, and CM Punk finally cashing in his favor from Paul Heyman. WrestleMania season is certainly heating up!
Raw has had special start times in the United States over the previous few weeks due to the WWE’s European tour, but we’re about to return to the show’s traditional schedule. Honestly? I’m going to miss the afternoon episodes, but the early start times were nice while they lasted. Back to toggling between the WWE, NBA, and baseball, I guess!
