Content creator Izzy Ogbeide has blasted activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman, accusing him of derailing the push for justice and support for Big Brother Naija winner Phyna during her sister Ruth Otabor’s health crisis.

Her outburst followed the death of Ruth, who passed away weeks after being injured in an accident involving a Dangote Group truck near Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State.

Izzy faulted Verydarkman for accusing Phyna of betrayal at a critical time, arguing that his public comments divided the support base that should have been united behind the reality star and her family.

Notably, Phyna had initially reached out to Verydarkman for help after the tragic accident, but later disclosed in an Instagram story that the Dangote Group preferred he not be involved in the case.

In a six-minute video, Izzy lashed out at the critic for allegedly mishandling the situation.

“The hospital has been calling her, but because she was admitted, the drip knocked her out. Verydarkman, go close Dangote road down for Edo State. You say you go do justice after you don remove sympathy from the family. Phyna, you caused people to hate her, calling a stressed woman a betrayal.

“Phyna cried to you for help, you just had to fight that you were not in the forefront of a family issue. She didn’t say come and help me fight Dangote. She came to you as a brother because that’s what she saw you as. Bro wey get front-man syndrome, without considering who else is involved.

“Instead of you to wait for the matter to settle or not talk about it at all, you shouted ‘Phyna betrayed me,’ and turned social media upside down. Look where it ended. You should be ashamed of yourself. She don die, make dem come carry am come your house make you chop am,” she said.
