Angelina Jolie and her 19-year-old daughter Zahara Jolie turned heads as they graced the red carpet at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards on January 5, 2025, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.

Jolie, who was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama for her portrayal of Maria Callas in Netflix’s Maria, dazzled in an Alexander McQueen gown. Zahara complemented her mother in a McQueen cherry-branches embroidered gown, which retails for over $9,000.

Just two days prior, on January 3, Jolie and Zahara attended the Palm Springs International Film Awards at the Palm Springs Convention Center. The iconic actress was honored with the prestigious Desert Palm Achievement Award for her transformative performance in Maria.

“Maria presents the iconic Angelina Jolie in the role of a lifetime as she embodies Maria Callas, the world-renowned opera legend,” Festival Chairman Nachhattar Singh Chandi said in a statement. “Jolie’s extraordinary portrayal captures the heart and complexity of an artist whose life was as captivating as her music.”

Jolie’s godmother, Jacqueline Bisset, added to the moment by presenting the award to her. The actress donned a stunning black, silk halter gown, radiating elegance as she posed with Zahara on the red carpet.

A source close to Jolie recently shared with People news outlet  that the actress is in a happy and content phase of her life. “She’s focused on her kids and work. She’s involved in projects that she truly cares and feels passionate about.”
