Kota Srinivasa Is Alive but a recent internet rumor has it that he has passed away. Thankfully. the seasoned Tollywood actor in a viral video refuted the reports and urged people not to take the rumors of his passing seriously.

Rao is a well-known actor who mainly performs in Telugu movies. Additionally, he has contributed to films in Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and Tamil.

Some of the films in which he appeared include Dookudu, Sarkar, Ganesh, Boomarillu, Idiot, and Hello Brother. He was given the Padma Shri honor for his contributions to Indian cinema in 2015.

The 75-year-old actor has denied the rumor and said that people should not let rumors play with their lives. It’s unclear from where the rumor came.

Rao added that we ought to give those spreading such rumors a suitable lesson. The accomplished performer described the rumors of his death as “unfortunate.”

He claimed that while he was preoccupied with the Ugadi festival, a string of phone calls bothered him. His heart would have stopped beating if an elderly person had been in his place.

The Actor also disclosed that 10 Police officers visited his home to set up security following the false news of his death. “There are various methods if they want money or popularity, but spreading such rumors is inappropriate,” he stated.

People should not believe or spread such serious news and reports before confirming it from reliable sources and media outlets. Rao has been in the entertainment industry for over two decades.

Considering his fame and stand in the industry, it is not surprising people would be interested in the smallest news about the Actor. Some people seem to take advantage of it.

Some basic background facts about the actor – from family – parents, wife kids to early life 

Kota Srinivasa Rao was born in Andhra Pradesh on July 10, 1947. While his mother was a devoted housewife, his father, Seetha Rama Anjaneyulu, was a physician.

Srinivasa wished to carry on his father’s medical career as the son of a doctor. He also pursued a career in medicine.

He was drawn to the entertainment industry, though, by his interest in acting. Kota started his acting career on stage in college productions.

Kota Sankara Rao, his younger brother, is also involved in the project as an actor. He works for a nationalized bank and appears in soap operas.

Rao holds a Bachelor of Science degree. Before venturing into the film industry, he worked as a State Bank employee.

He is also a former politician. From 1999 to 2004, Srinivasa served as the MLA in Andhra Pradesh.

Talking about his marital life, Kota Srinivasa shares a blissful marital life with his wife, Rukmini. The couple has been merrily together for a few decades.

In addition, Rao and his spouse are the proud parents of three kids – two daughters and a son. Sadly, one of his sons, Kota Venkata Anjaneya Prasad, passed away on 20 June 2010 in a car accident in Hyderabad.

Rao’s son Prasad performed with him in the movie Siddham by J. D. Chakravarthy and Gaayam 2. His acting received favorable reviews.
