Niousha Noor On Netflix’s Kaleidoscope
Netflix’s anticipated TV show Kaleidoscope was released on New Years Day 2023. It is an eight-part American heist drama TV mini-series created by Eric Garcia. Master thief Leo Pap (Giancarlo Esposito) and his team attempt a $7 billion grand theft in the show, but their preparations are derailed by betrayal, greed, and other obstacles.
In the show, Niousha portrays the role of FBI agent Nazan Abbasi. In the “Pink” episode, which takes place six months after the heist. Agent Abbassi has a personal stake in taking out this gang of criminals, especially Ava Mercer. Nazan questioned Ava in her house seven years prior to the heist, although she appeared inebriated at the time. Later, viewers learn that Ava complained to the federal agent, which led to Nazan being caught using drugs and being fired from the force. The agent also lost custody of her son.
Back at work in the weeks before the theft, Nazan learns about a robbery case where Ava’s fingerprint was discovered on the pistol shell casing, setting out a fire inside the agent. She starts looking into Ava and the jewelry heist in more detail, and finally, she learns who Ava is working with on the team. The gang of thieves is trying to rob “the triplets,” a group of three extraordinarily affluent people, of billions of dollars.
Nazan is still digging into the missing bonds, the triplets, and the entire crew six months after the theft. The agent collapses as she crosses the street at the conclusion of “Pink.” “That’s the moment where when I read the script, I was like, ‘Wait, what’s happened to me?’” Niousha told Distractify. “So I didn’t know. I think I called [show creator Eric Garcia] and I was like, ‘Did I die?’”
The triplets and their empires were in danger due to Agent Nazan’s refusal to let the case go.
“So that was what happened,” Niousha said. “I don’t know if everyone caches that the first viewing, but again, it’s one of those things you have to go back.”

Since then, he has been producing short films and authoring screenplays, including a plot collaboration on the 2009 feature About Elly with Academy Award–winning writer-director Asghar Farhadi.
