John was a professional and international player who played club football for Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United.

South African footballer John Moeti was married to his wife, Matshidiso. She once made headlines on the internet after getting arrested. Midrand Police arrested Matshidiso for theft.

Not only that but she was also detained for two nights in police cells without bail. Matshidiso allegedly stormed into the sheriff’s office in Midrand during a meeting and ran away with an iPhone belonging to one of the sheriffs.

was arrested. It was the incident that happened in January 2020. The Police statement also said she refused to get into the police car.
An officer revealed that Moeti’s wife demanded to drive her car to the station, where she also refused to step out of the car.
So, Police forcefully took her out. It is also reported that the whole drama occurred after Matshidiso argued with CJ Oosthuizen over money he was to recover on her behalf.
In the same way, Moeti’s wife also complained that she had been owed money for a long and allegedly told the sheriff that until her money was returned, she would keep his phone.
